Consent Agenda Item l.d <br />Case No. 6-07CW072: Application of Upper Yampa Water Conser~~ancy District <br />Application Summary <br />This is an application for a conditional water storage right for Morrison Creek Reservoir with an <br />appropriation date of September 14, 2006. It will be located approximately 9 miles southeast of the <br />Town of Oak Creek in Routt County. Morrison Creek Reservoir will be an on-channel reservoir <br />that will be filled from Morrison and Silver Creeks. The surface area for this reservoir is estimated <br />at 330 acres. <br />CWCB Appropriation <br />The CWCB has the following instream flow water right that could be injured by this application: <br />CWCB Stream/Lake Amount Approp. Watershed County <br />Case No. (cfs) Date <br />6-77W1328 Sih~er Creek 5 9/23/77 Upper Yampa Routt <br />Potential for Injury <br />The Applicant's proposed on-channel reservoir will inundate a portion of the Board's instream flow <br />water right on Sih~er Creek. <br />Other Objectors <br />The Dequine Family, LLC, Flying Diamond Resources, Kim Singleton, Catamount Development, <br />Inc., Catamount Metropolitan District, James A. Larson, Robert and Elaine Gay Limited <br />Partnership, James G. Heckbert and the State and Di~~ision Engineers also filed Statements of <br />Opposition to this application. <br />
