(Chapter IILB) <br />(135,675 people/19,273 acres (M&I land use excluding Other land category) = 7.0 people per <br />acre; the projected population in 2045 is then divided by the number of people per acre <br />previously determined, 571,487 peoplel7.0 people per acre = 81,641 total acres). Subtracting the <br />current M&I land use (19,273) from the projected population land use in 2045 (81,641) equals <br />the total projected M&I land use growth (62,368 acres) in 2045.
