The IO-Step Process:
1. _~dopt a resolution estabiishing liD's water conservation, transfer and
marketing policy. (Board adopted Resolution 4-95 on -1/4195.)
2. Form a water transfer study group. (Directors Lloyd Allen and Ted Lyon
were apPQinted on 5/23:'95.)
3. Commence public information meetings. (First meeting sponsored by
'Vater Consen'ation Advisory Board on 6i8!95.)

public at each Board meeting.
5. Study group, staff and legal counsel will develop a public information!
input program to keep the public full~' aware of the water consen'ation!
transfer study process and to receive substantial public input.
6. "Cpdate lID's 1985 Water Requirements and Availability Study.
:. .Study group will identify and brief the Board and public on possible water
consen"ation projects (with utmost priori!)' given to on-farm water con-
servation projects) that can make water available for transfer.
S. Study group will identify possible markets for conserved water.

transfer arrangemem (length ofrransfer, compensation, etc.).
