The additional snowfall has improved thc ovcrall snowpack measurcmcnls in all of the <br />basins, which now range from 66% of average in the Laramie Basin, to 93% of average in the <br />Yampa Basin. Ifas much new snowfall occurs during March as did during February,the <br />snowpack in many of these basins could reach above average amounts by April I. There is about <br />37% more snow this year compared to last year at this time. Precipitation measurements during <br />February were 115% of average, and were the first monthly accumulations to be above average <br />since November. The water ycar total is now 89% of average. Reservoirs in the basin have 92% <br />of their average storage for this time of year. There is only 89% of last year's storage amount. <br />Streamllow forecasts have all improved from last month, but are well below average for l11os1 of <br />the sites. They range from 66% of average on the White River near Meeker, to 88% of average on <br />the Yampa River at Steamboat Springs. <br />
