<br /> <br />14 <br /> <br />RIO GRANDE COMPACT <br /> <br />The application of this schedule shall be subject to the provisions hereinafter set forth <br />and appropriate adjustments shall be made for (a) any change in location of gaging <br />stations; (b) depletion after 1929 in New Mexico of the natural runoff at Otowi <br />Bridge; and (c) any transmountain diversions Into the Rio Grande between <br />Lobatos and Elephant Butte Reservoir." <br /> <br />Be it Further Resolved: <br /> <br />That the gaging stations at San Acacia and San Marcial be, and the same are hereby <br />abandoned for Compact purposes. <br /> <br />Be it Further Resolved: <br /> <br />That this Resolution has been passed unanimously and shall be effective January 1, <br />1949, if within 120 days from this date the Commissioner for each State shall have <br />received from the Attomey General of the State represented by him, an opinion <br />approving this Resolution, and shall have so advised the Chairman of the <br />Commission, otherwise, to be of no force and effect. <br /> <br />(Note: The following paragraph appears in the Minutes of the Annual Meeting of the <br />Commission held at Denver, Colorado, February 14-16,1949. <br /> <br />"The Chairman announced that he had received, pursuant to the Resolution adopted <br />by the Commission at the Ninth Annual Meeting on February 24, 1948, opinions from <br />the Attomeys General of Colorado, New Mexico and Texas that the substitution of <br />stations and measurements of deliveries by New Mexico set forth in said resolution <br />was within the powers of the Commission"). <br />
