Ccntml. <br />GASP. ami Lower Soulh Platte wells located by <br />GPS can be compared with the locations of the <br />\\lclls in the swte wcll database using this <br />common identification number. <br /> <br />Comparisons like these arc used to priontize <br />which wells should be targeted for review of <br />their assigned SDF values. The location ofwclls <br />is imponant fOf assigning an accumtc SDF value <br />and determining problems in the well databases <br />from different data sources. Tools <br />were dcveloped to print a series of pre.selected <br />areas located using the public land survey <br />~ystem coordinates. Once a more accurate <br />description for a well has been established with a <br />famler. the location call be obtained u~ing a GPS <br />unit (Figure 5).
