<br />NE Quadrant Provider Profile <br /> <br />Provider: Brighton <br /> <br />Service Area: Town of Brighton, approximately 17 square miles <br /> <br />Existing Demand: 4,000 AF Iyr to serve a population of approximately 20,000 <br /> <br />Future Demand: Ultimate demand of 16,000 AF/yr to serve a population of 80,000 <br /> <br />Existing Storage Facilities: Derivative interest in Barr Lake <br /> <br />Existing Water Sources(A verage Yield): <br />Tributary wells in S. Platte River alluvium 4,000 AF <br />(augmented with Burlington and Wellington shares) <br /> <br />Water Treament Capacities: <br />Reverse Osmosis Plant <br /> <br />Groundwater Usage: <br />Presently obtains water from 15 tributary wells in S. Platte River alluvium, generally <br />using seven at a time. Brighton also has three wells located in the Beebe draw alluvium <br />which are not currently being used due to water quality issues. <br /> <br />Reusable Water Supplies: <br />Brighton's reusable supplies consist of augmentation water from changed shares in the <br />Fulton Ditch, BurlingtonlWellington companies, and the FRICOlBarr Division. <br /> <br />Special Interests in NE Quadrant Study: <br />Brighton anticipates that some of its future growth will occur in the Beebe Draw basin. <br />Brighton may therefore be more involved with FRICOlBarr in the future. <br /> <br />Additional potable water supplies at reasonable cost, possibly through participation in a <br />regional potable supply project. <br /> <br />Additional augmentation supplies. <br /> <br />1 <br />
