Northeast Quadrant Study - Existing Conditions

T4e following pages contain graphs and tables that were constructed to show existing
conditions. In accordance with the work plan, data from Water Year 1987 through Water
Year 1996 (when available) were used to depict existing conditions. The data include the
following:

· Summary narrative descriptions of water supply system facilities, relevant
water right, and system operations for each Study member:

· South Platte at Denver Gage - The table contains average daily flows
calculated from daily flows measured at the gage. The daily data is plotted in
the graph.

· South Platte below Burlington - The flow below the Burlington was assumed
to be equal to the flow at 64th plus the amount of water diverted by Gardners
ditch. The table contains average daily flows for each month in the time
period. The average daily flow values are plotted in the chart.

· Metro Discharge -The table and plot contain average daily flow (cfs) values
obtained from Metro.

· Metro pumping into the Burlington - There are two sources of this data. The
table contains values from Metro records. The chart below plots both the
values from Metro records and from FRICO records.

· Burlington Headgate Diversions-The values were extracted from the SED
diversion database for water year 1987 through 1995. The values for Water
Year 1996 were calculated by subtracting the flow at the 64th street gage from
the flow at the Denver Gage.

· Thornton Diversions via Burlington - The table contains Thornton's
diversions via the Burlington this data was obtained from FRICD. Two fields,
"Thornton stock" and "Thornton other" from FRICD's Records were added
to obtain these values.

· Denver Hudson Canal- The table contains the average daily flow (cfs)
diverted down the Denver Hudson Canal. The daily flow measured in the
canal is plotted in the chart. The data are from FRICD.

· South Platte at Henderson - The table contains average daily flow of the
South Platte recorded at the Henderson gage. The chart below is a plot of the
daily data.
