Necessary Flows for the Durango Boating Park

I

Expected flow is a key part of the design process. Necessary flows for a particular design in
a particular reach of the Animas River are based on a variety of factors and it was found in
this study that the required flow regime for certain Stmctures at the Durango Boating Park
was different than at others, as were the City's intended usage at the different Structures.
The flow regime for the Upper Boating Park Structures, to provide for the named
experiences, is listed in Table 1, shown below:

meetings with City staff, that Structures 10, 11 and 12 have a different intended purpose
