Proposed Navaio Reservoir Water Contract <br /> <br />This determination is not to be construed as acceptance by the Department of the Interior <br />of the terms of the Settlement Agreement, including the terms of the proposed contract. <br />This determination also does not guarantee that the United States would be able to deliver <br />water under the proposed contract without shortages in deliveries on account of drought <br />or other causes outside the control of the Secretary. Nothing in this determination shall <br />be construed to impose on the United States any obligation to maintain CRSP. storage <br />facilities, including Navajo Dam and Reservoir, or NIIP or Navajo..,Gallup Water Supply <br />Project facilities beyond their useful lives or to take extraordinary measures to keep these <br />facilities operating. <br /> <br />8 <br />
