<br />PERSONNEL <br /> <br />La Plata West Water Authority: The LPWW A was formed specifically to manage the <br />development of this project. The Board of Directors was appointed by the La Plata Water <br />Conservancy District and the Animas La Plata Water Conservancy District (the entities <br />sponsoring the Authority formation). The Authority Board members bring extensive <br />experience in water management, as detailed in the attached Authority Board Resume <br />Summary. <br /> <br />Under the management of the LPWW A, the following personnel are/will be retained to <br />assist in the project: <br /> <br />Engineer: A qualified licensed design engineering firm will be retained to develop design <br />options for the water supply structure. A Request for Proposals to solicit bids for the job <br />will be sent out by the LPWW A in 2007. <br /> <br />Legal Counsel: Floyd L. Smith, Attorney at Law <br /> <br />Management: Bikis Water Consultants, LLC <br /> <br />Assistance: The US Bureau of Reclamation has provided assistance in sponsoring the <br />feasibility study, engineering design for the intake structure, management of the project <br />and likely will continue in this capacity.
