Issue a Request for Proposals for evaluation and design of water supply structure <br />. Retain an engineering firm <br />. Intake structure feasibility evaluation by engineer, including analysis of: <br />o Cost <br />o Land Lease <br />o Engineering <br />. Ability to construct before reservoir fills Select water supply structure (intake <br />structure or outlet works) based on: <br />o F easi bili ty of buil ding intake structure <br />o Cost-Benefits comparison of reservoir intake structure to connection at outlet <br />works <br /> <br />Task 2. Engineering Design for Water Supply Structure <br />. Develop a final design for the preferred water supply structure <br /> <br />Task 3. Aerial Mapping <br />. Conduct aerial mapping as necessary for engineering design <br /> <br />Task 4. Environmental and Archaeological Permitting <br />. The Bureau of Reclamation will conduct permitting studies as part of their <br />LPWW A land lease application evaluation. <br />. This work will build largely on existing environmental studies done for the <br />Animas La Plata proj ect. <br /> <br />Task 5. Construction of the Intake Structure <br />. Begin construction of the intake structure <br /> <br />Task 6. Ongoing Project Planning and Development <br />. Coordinate with local and federal government agencies for permitting and design <br />. Continued project administration, including legal fees and consultant fees <br /> <br />Task 7. Apply for Grant Funding <br />. Colorado Colorado Department of Local Affairs (DOLA): Applied for $400,000, December 2007. <br />. Southwest Interbasin Compact Roundtable: Applied for $100,000, November 2007 <br />. Statewide Water Supply Reserve Account: Applied for $1,000,000, December 2007 <br />. Animas La Plata Conservation District: To be applied for $10,000, 2008 <br />.
