Raw water is pumped to the city's water treatment plant (\NTP). Reverse osmosis treatment is provided
at the \NTP. The treated water flows into a large ground level storage tank. The potable water is then
boosted into an elevated water storage tank and the distribution system. The distribution system provides
a network of piping throughout the city's service area. The elevated water storage tank provides gravity
storage and maintains relatively constant pressures within the distribution system. In order to operate
said facilities, the city has in place a user fee system that is based upon the consumption of water on a
monthly basis. The city's current water rate and tap fee schedules are as indicated below as amended on
October 15,2007.
