Provide a brief description of your organization below: see ''Description of Applicant" in Part 2 of Criteria and <br />Guidance for required information. <br /> <br />Summit County Government is acting as the lead agency of an IGA (Inter <br />Governmental Agreement) between Summit County Government, the Town of Dillon <br />and the Town of Silverthorne. The Town of Dillon and the Town of Silverthorne are <br />both home rule municipalities in the State of Colorado. As the project moves to <br />construction, Summit County, Dillon and Silverthorne will likely form a Water Authority <br />to take on the financial and operational responsibilities for the enlarged Old Dillon <br />Reservoir. In the mean time, Summit County will act as the lead financial member of <br />the Old Dillon Reservoir Group (ODR group) and is therefore requesting the grant on <br />behalf of the ODR group. <br /> <br />Summit County government does not directly provide potable water but provides a <br />supply of raw water for direct use and augmentation to water users within the County. <br />The Town of Dillon and the Town of Silverthorne operate water distribution system <br />enterprises to directly provide potable water to the residents and businesses located <br />within their respective communities. <br /> <br />2 <br />
