In each case, l-km averages of <br /> <br />the measurements were used, and only reg ions where the droplet <br />concentration exceeded 20/cm3 were included. <br /> <br />Fig. 2.21 shows the frequency with which various values of the <br /> <br />eddy dissipation rate (determined from the MRI turbulence meter, with <br /> <br />correction for the density of the air) were measured. Typical values <br /> <br /> <br />were near 100 cm2/s3, but values exceeding 250 cm2/s3 were observed in <br /> <br />10% of the cases.
