<br />Table 1. Safeguards Against Potentially Hazardous Effects in <br />North Dakota1 <br /> <br />1. Seeding will continue during severe thunderstorms <br />or tornado watches. <br /> <br />2. Tornado or funnel bearing clouds will not be seeded. <br />If seeding is in progress, it will not resume until <br />30 minutes have elapsed after the funnel or tornado <br />dissipates. All tornado or funnel sightings by <br />project personnel will immediately be reported to <br />the appropriate NWS office. <br /> <br />3. Stationary storms producing rainfall in excess of 2 <br />inches/hour will not be seeded.
