<br />TASK B - PUBLIC OUTREACH <br /> <br />Purpose <br /> <br />The City will seek public input on the Plan through use of a public-review program. <br /> <br />Approach <br /> <br />CWS will complete a presentation for one public meeting to be held on a date mutually <br />agreeable to CWS and the City. This meeting will seek feedback on the draft Water <br />Conservation Plan and conservation goals. Consultant will facilitate the public meeting. <br /> <br />The City will coordinate the following: <br />. Announcing the 60-day public-review period in the local paper and water bill, <br />holding the public hearing on the Plan, and making the Plan publicly available. <br />. Collecting and organizing public comments. These comments will be provided to <br />CWS following the public-review period. <br />. Advertising/notifying the public about the public meeting and for providing <br />suitable public meeting facilities. <br /> <br />REQUIREMENTS <br /> <br />1. The City will review a final draft of the Plan and provide comments. <br />2. CWS will incorporate City comments prior to the public-review process. <br />3. Public comments will be solicited and incorporated into the plan. <br />4. City will formally adopt the final plan. <br />5. CWS will submit the final plan to CWCB. <br />6. CWCB will review final plan. <br />7. CWS and City will participate in follow up conference call with CWCB. <br /> <br />DELIVERABLES <br /> <br />CWS will submit the following: <br />. Monthly invoices to the City with brief progress reports. <br />. Submit 500/0 and 950/0 progress reports to CWCB. <br />. Provide draft plan to the City for comments prior to submission to CWCB. <br />. Final plan submitted electronically to CWCB with all comments, including public <br />input. <br />.
