General location of the project. (Please include county, and approximate distance and direction <br />from nearest town, as well as legal description, if known. <br /> <br />The study will be focused in northeastern Colorado (Water Districts 1-6), but with application to all <br />of Colorado. <br /> <br />5. Please provide a brief narrative description of the proposed project including purpose, need, <br />facilities, type of water uses to be served and service area. Attach separate sheet, if m:eded. <br /> <br />The project/study is an assessment of the potential for the expanded provision of pressurized raw <br />irrigation water for landscape use in unincorporated and incorporated areas in Colorado, but <br />particularly along the Colorado Front Range, by canal companies and irrigation districts who <br />voluntarily wish to provide this kind of water service to subdivisions and other water users. <br />Lessons will be drawn from similar practices on the West Slope as well as current practices in <br />northeastern Colorado. The attached proposal provides detailed justification, participation, and <br />output from the study. <br /> <br />6. Water Right: NIA CFS. Average water diverted per year: <br />6.
