Tom commented that Harris Sherman has hired a full time public relations <br />specialist and legislative liaison (Heidi) that we'll want to work with. <br /> <br />Tom commented on the seismic study. Funding source and course of action are still <br />issues to be resolved. <br /> <br />Rick McLoud asked if there will be any contract modifications. Tom said he doesn't <br />believe there will any hold ups in the near future, and any contract modifications will be <br />worked out between Tetra Tech and the Corps. <br /> <br />Rick suggested that the water users meet in two weeks and have comments ready on the <br />EIS draft chapters that have been released thus far. Ronda commented that we need <br />another format to organize our comments; she said maybe someone should review it and <br />redline suggested changes. Rick said that Deb Freeman will step in in the next two <br />weeks and will help organize comments and review. Steve Witter asked when other <br />chapters will be done. Rick said he has been told that other chapters should be ready <br />within a month but he is sceptical. Tom emphasized that CWCB has to be OK with the <br />draft EIS before it goes back to the Corps. If this takes time, CWCB is OK with this. <br />However, he knows others won't be. We have to reach a common position on this. <br />
