The $450,000 HB 98-1189 project <br />authorization was made for both construction of an emergency spillway and the purchase <br />ofBLM land lmderlying the reservoir. <br /> <br />The BLM negotiations have languished and produced little indication of promise. <br /> <br />( <br /> <br />The spillway design has undergone significant changes. This, coupled with flood <br />easement negotiations with downstream neighbors, has led us to believe that a re- <br />evaluation of the project is in order.
