<br />~ Construction of a roller compacted concrete (RCC) and labyrinth combination <br />spillway near the maximum dam section instead of a spillway along the right <br />abutment; <br /> <br />~ Increase in pump station capacity from 5,000 gpm (7 MGD) to 6,300 gpm (9 MGD) <br />with an option for future expansion to 8,400 gpm (12 MGD); and <br /> <br />~ Acquisition of four additional full properties and two less partial properties (three of <br />the partial property acquisitions became full acquisitions and one additional partial <br />acquisition is required). <br /> <br />Total capital expenses for the project, including construction and construction management <br />services and land acquisition is estimated at $21,600,000 (rounded). The original CWCB loan <br />amount is $3,937,500 (75% of $5,250,000) for each District, based on an original project cost <br />estimate of $10,500,000. Based on an additional project cost of $11,100,000, each District is <br />currently applying for an additional $4,994,995, which is 90 percent of the total amount of <br />$5,550,000. The Districts are applying for these additional loans through the CWCB Construction <br />Fund Loan Program. <br /> <br />Final design was submitted to the SEO in February 2005. The SEO will complete their <br />review by August 2005.
