The <br />diversion and headgate are located on the Arkansas River and the reservoir is located about 15 <br />miles north of Lamar. The dam is restricted to gage height 23.5 feet. The outlet and stilling basin <br />are in poor condition and need to be rehabilitated in accordance with State Engineer safety <br />standards. The reservoir has a capacity of 60,618 ac-ft. The Amity Mutual Irrigation Company is <br />a mutual ditch company and a nonprofit corporation registered in the State of Colorado. URS <br />Consultants has completed conceptual plans and a cost estimate for the project and CWCB <br />Staff has completed the feasibility study.
