<br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />, I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Unused Water Based on Actual Flow Records <br /> <br />Records of monthly water diversions for the period from 1970 to 2001 were used to estimate <br />average monthly diversions from Leroux Creek. The same assumptions used earlier in <br />estimating monthly unused flows were used to estimate daily unused flows during 1948 and <br />1949. These assumptions were: <br /> <br />. Water diversions from Jessie, Duke and Enos Hotchkiss were disregarded and not <br />included in the total diversions. <br /> <br />. Cow Creek Ditch return flows were assumed to be 20 percent of its water diversions. <br /> <br />. Daily flows of Leroux Creek were increased by 8 percent to account for flows from Cow <br />Creek. <br /> <br />. Daily diversions were assumed to be equal to daily total inflow if the daily diversion <br />exceeds daily flow. <br /> <br />Based on the assumptions, daily-unused rates were estimated and added to estimate monthly <br />unused runoff as shown in Table 12. Total unused runoff volumes were estimated at 13,001 and <br />15,161 acre-feet for 1948 and 1949, respectively. <br /> <br /> <br />-22- <br />
