<br />DEC, the City of Aspen, the Towns of Basalt and Snowmass Village, and Pitkin County. <br />As a result of that meeting, it was decided that flood hazard information for all of Pitkin <br />County, including the incorporated communities, would be shown on one Flood <br />Insurance Rate Map (FIRM). Therefore, flood hazard information for areas outside the <br />corporate limits of Basalt has also been presented on the FIRM for informational <br />purposes only. <br /> <br />Town of Eagle <br />The original community base map selection and the identification of streams requiring <br />detailed study for the Town of Eagle occurred in a meeting with representatives from the <br />Federal Insurance Administration (FIA), the CWCB, the SC, and Eagle County on <br />June 3, 1977. <br /> <br />During the course of work performed by the SC, the study was reviewed with community <br />officials and with officials of the FIA. <br /> <br />The results of that study were reviewed at a final community coordination meeting held <br />on February 13, 1979. Attending the meeting were representatives of the FIA, the SC, <br />and the town. No problems were raised at that meeting. <br /> <br />Town of Gypsum <br />Town of Gypsum streams requiring detailed study were identified at a meeting attended <br />by representatives of the SC, the FIA, the CWCB, and Eagle County on June 9, 1977. <br />Results of the hydrologic analyses were coordinated with the CWCB and the FIA. <br /> <br />The results of that study were reviewed at a final community coordination meeting held <br />on February 13, 1979. Attending that meeting were representatives of the FIA, the SC, <br />and the town. <br /> <br />Town of Minturn <br />Town of Minturn streams requiring detailed and approximate study were identified at a <br />meeting attended by representatives of the SC, the FIA, and the Town of Minturn on <br />June 8, 1977. Results of the hydrologic analyses were presented to the CWCB, which is <br />the State NFIP Coordinator for Colorado. <br /> <br />The results of that study were reviewed at a final community coordination meeting held <br />on September 19, 1979. Attending that meeting were representatives of the FIA, the SC, <br />and the town. No problems were raised at the meeting. <br /> <br />Town of Red Cliff <br />Streams within the Town of Red Cliff that required detailed study were identified at a <br />meeting attended by representatives of the SC, the FIA, the CWCB, and Eagle County on <br />June 9, 1977. Results of the hydrologic analyses were coordinated with the CWCB and <br />the FIA. <br /> <br />The results of that study were reviewed at a final community coordination meeting held <br />on Apri12, 1979. Attending the meeting were representatives of the FIA, the SC, the <br />CWCB, and the town. <br /> <br />Town of Vail <br />Streams in the Town of Vail selected for detailed study were identified at a meeting <br />attended by representatives of the SC, FEMA, the CWCB, Eagle County, and the Town <br />of Vail on June 10, 1977. Results of the hydrologic analyses were coordinated with the <br />CWCB and FEMA. <br /> <br />5 <br />
