Also included is an
expanded section on CALFED.
The easy-to-understand guide
includes pictures, illustrations, maps
and a chronology to aid in learning
the subject
matter. And
because the
San Francisco
Bay is such an integral part of
the Bay-Delta equation, consider
our Layperson's Guide to
San Francisco Bay as well.

A quality complement to the guides is our scaled,
full-color, 36"x24" Delta map. The map gives an
accurate and detailed depiction of the intricate network
of sloughs, canals and islands composing the Delta.
This is a must for those wanting to familiarize themselves
with the geography of the region.

Finally, why not experience the Delta first-hand through
one of our tours? Both our one-day chartered plane
tours and our three-day bus tour give participants a
unique perspective of the Delta, including trips to
pumping plants, fish screens, diversion channels,
agricultural fields, levee projects and salt marshes.
Participants also have the opportunity to be briefed by
local, state and federal authorities on Bay-Delta issues,
ask questions and review background materials. The bus
tour has been scheduled for June 16-18, 1999.
