Interim Guidelines for the <br />Operation of Lake Powell <br />and Lake Mead <br />B. Effective Period -Special Provisions <br />1. The provisions for the delivery and accounting of ICS in Section 3 shall remain <br />in effect through December 31, 2036, unless subsequently modified, for any ICS <br />remaining in an ICS Account on December 31, 2026. <br />2. The provisions for the creation and delivery of Tributary Conservation ICS and <br />Imported ICS in Section 3 shall continue in full force and effect until fifty years <br />from the date of the execution of the ROD. <br />3. The provisions for the creation and delivery of DSS in Section 4 shall continue <br />in full force and effect until fifty years from the date of the execution of the <br />ROD. <br />C. Termination of Guidelines <br />Except as provided in Section 8.B., these Guidelines shall tei7ninate on December 31, <br />2025 (through preparation of the 2026 AOP). At the conclusion of the effective period <br />of these Guidelines, the operating criteria for Lake Powell and Lake Mead are assumed <br />to revert to the operating criteria used to model baseline conditions in the Final <br />Environmental Impact Statement for the Interim Surplus Guidelines dated December <br />2000 (i.e., modeling assumptions are based upon a 70R Strategy for the period <br />commencing January 1, 2026 (for preparation of the 2027 AOP)). <br />December 2007 ROD -Colorado River Interim Guidelines for <br />58 Lower Basin Shortages and Coordinated <br />Operations for Lake Powell and Lake Mead <br />
