The 2000 <br />and 2030 gross demands are presented in the table, along with the projected <br />conservation savings. Of the 98,000 AF of increased water demands in the Arkansas <br />Basin, the majority of the demand is proposed to be met through existing supplies <br />and water rights and through the implementation of identified projects and processes. <br />However, there are still some anticipated shortfalls expected in certain portions of the <br />basin. This is also shown in Table 5. The identified shortfalls will be the focus for <br />supply alternatives developed for the basin. <br /> <br />5 <br /> <br />SWSI Update - Arkansas Basin <br />
