Declares that the acquisition and application of <br />salvaged water is a beneficial use of water when affirmed as <br />being from an original appropriation. <br /> <br />2 Be it enacted ~ the General Assembly of the State of Colorado: <br /> <br />3 <br /> <br />SECTION 1. Article 82 of title 37, Colorado Revised <br /> <br />4 Statutes, as amended, is amended BY THE ADDITION OF A NEW <br />5 SECTION to read: <br /> <br />6 <br />7 <br /> <br />37-82-107. Affirmation of a water right to salvaged <br /> <br />water. <br /> <br />(1) As used in this section, IIsalvaged waterll means <br /> <br />8 water which is part of an appropriated water supply that would <br /> <br />9 be lost to users of the water source as a result of <br /> <br />10 evaporation, transpiration, seepage, or otherwise and which is <br /> <br />11 conserved or otherwise made available for beneficial use.
