Consent Agenda Item l.f <br />Case No. 6-07CW061: Application of Upper Yampa Water Conser~~ancy District <br />Application Summary <br />This is an application for change of water rights in the upper Yampa Ri~~er some 10 miles south of <br />Steamboat Springs. The Applicant seeks to change (to add an alternate place of storage) a portion <br />of the conditional water storage rights decreed to the Pleasant Valley Reser~~oir and Pleasant Valley <br />Feeder Canal to upstream storage facilities such as the proposed Morrison Creek Reservoir and <br />Stagecoach Reservoir. <br />CWCB Appropriation <br />The CWCB holds the following instream flow water right that could be injured by this application: <br />CWCB Stream/Lake Amount Approp. Watershed County <br />Case No. (cfs) Date <br />6-O1CW106 Yampa Ri~~er 72.5/47.5 9/23/77 Upper Yampa Routt <br />Potential for Injury <br />The Applicant's proposed change of water storage rights may result in an expansion of use that <br />could injure the Board's instream flow water right on the Yampa Ri~~er. <br />Other Objectors <br />Dorothy J. Dickerson, Betty Jane Lay and Hattie M. Miles, the Dequine Family, LLC, Flying <br />Diamond Resources, Kim Singleton, James A. Larson, United States of America - U.S.D.A. Forest <br />Service, Catamount De~~elopment, Inc., Catamount Metropolitan District, and the State and <br />Di~~ision Engineers also filed Statements of Opposition to this application. <br />
