Consent Agenda Item l.b <br />Case No. 3-07CW056: Application of Donald R. Glittenburg <br />Application Summary <br />This is an application for change of water rights and surface water rights on San Luis Creek and <br />Dorsey Creek in the northern San Luis Valley. The Applicant seeks to correct the decreed locations <br />of the points of di`~ersion (POD) for the Dorcey Ditch Nos. 1, 2 and 3 to their actual locations. The <br />Applicant also seeks a new absolute water right in the amount of 1 cfs for the Dorcey Ditch No. 4, <br />for the irrigation of 10 acres. The Applicant claims a 3/28/1890 priority date. <br />CWCB Appropriation <br />The CWCB holds the following instream flow water right that could be injured by this application: <br />CWCB Stream/Lake Amount (cfs) Approp. Watershed County <br />Case No. Date <br />3-03CW035 Dorsey Creek 0.8/0.35/0.25/0.35 1/22/03 San Luis Creek Saguache <br />Potential for Injury <br />The Applicant must be held to strict proof of the claimed appropriation date for the Dorcey Ditch <br />No. 4 to a~~oid a potential expansion of use that could injure the Board's instream flow water rights <br />on Dorsey Creek. <br />Other Objectors <br />United States of America -Bureau of Land Management also filed a Statement of Opposition to <br />this application. <br />
