Gimbel <br /> cwcB Director <br />DATE: January 14 2008 Da'`Nt°"~°lirte <br />C WCB Deputy Director <br />SUBJECT: Agenda Item 15, January 22-23, 2008, Board Meeting <br />Stream and Lake Protection Section - 2009 New Appropriations Workshop <br />On Wednesday, February 13, 2008, the Stream and Lake Protection Section will conduct a <br />workshop to receive recommendations for streams and lakes to be included in the Instream Flow <br />and Natural Lake Level Program in upcoming years. This workshop is an opportunity for state <br />and federal cooperators and all other members of the public to provide detailed instream flow <br />and natural lake level recommendations to the Board and Staff and to indicate where they intend <br />to concentrate their data collection efforts in future years. <br />Board members are encouraged to attend if their schedules permit. Staff will report back from <br />the workshop at the March 2008 meeting and will inform individual Board members of stream <br />flow recommendations that are proposed for their areas. <br />The ISF Workshop is tentatively scheduled to be held from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Colorado <br />Division of Wildlife's Hunters Education Building at 6060 Broadway, Denver, Colorado 80216. <br />A formal announcement and draft agenda will be sent to the ISF subscription mailing list two <br />weeks prior to the meeting. <br />Water Supply Protection • Watershed Protection & Flood Mitigation • Stream & Lake Protection • Water Supply Planning & Finance <br />Water Conservation & Drought Planning • Intrastate Water Management & Decelupment <br />
