4. Intrastate Water Management & Development Section -Phase II SWSI Report Update

Action: A motion was made by Harold Miskel and seconded by Eric Wilkinson to approve staff
recommendation that the Board adopt Sections 1-5 of SWSI Phase 2 Report (located on
CWCB website: www.cwcb.state.co.us), and to direct staff to develop fact sheets for each
of the relevant report sections and to work with various stakeholders, especially the Basin
Roundtables, to familiarize them with the information in the report. Staff also
recommends that the Board work with staff over the next couple months to finalize
Section 6 of the report. Barbara Biggs returned for this motion. The motion was
approved unanimously (9-0).

7. Stream and Lake Protection Section -Notice of 2008 Instream Flow Recommendations in Water
Divisions 1, 2, 5, and 6. Puy~s~sant to ISFRule Sc, the CWCB is py~oviding notice that the
following streams are being considered for instr•eam flow appropriations in 2008. At the January
2008 CWCB meeting, staff may request that the Board form its intent to appropriate ISF water
rights on these streams.
