Background
Various communities have built water-based recreational amenities within the State of Colorado.
The Staff originally was going to seek Board authorization to initiate a grant program to assist
communities in developing recreation based water development within their communities. In
preparation for this project, the Staff informally met with several stakeholders and decided to
withdraw the request at this time. In the meantime, the Staff will continue to meet with this
Informal Recreation Advisory Committee ("IRAC").
