Recognizing that the policy may not be perfect, or address all of the Board's concerns, it
is necessary for the Board to be relatively comfortable with this policy during the legislative
review of the 2008 Projects Bill. After the statutory authorizations have been established by the
Legislature the Board will have the opportunity to fine tune the policy at a later date.
Recommendation
Staff recommends the Board approve Policy #18 -Application and Approval Process for
use of Investments and Loans from the Severance Tax Trust Fund Perpetual Base Account for
Funding Water Supply Partnership Projects and Special Dam Rehabilitation Projects.
