There already are substantial investments in <br />conservation projects and infrastructure, so let?s maximize them. <br />± <br />The state health department should be involved in making gray water useable for <br />smaller municipalities so they can use some of the same conservation tools that <br />have been implemented by larger cities. <br />± <br />Are the members of CDM going to be facilitating the Technical Roundtable <br />meetings? <br />± <br />How do we find out who will be appointed to the Technical Roundtables and who <br />were the nominees or the actual appointees? <br />± <br />I?m wondering if there is an opportunity to work not just with Colorado experts, but <br />also the state experts from all four states in the Four Corners area to look at <br />basins water issues and solutions. <br />Alternative solutions for expanding water supply should be explored by SWSI: <br />± <br />People in our basin also need more help with cloud seeding and better scientific <br />research to show that cloud seeding actually increases precipitation and water <br />supplies. <br />± <br />SWSI needs to make better long-range forecasting for the weather, so the state <br />can give local entities a heads-up when tough times are about to come.
