<br />1.7 Overview of Report
<br />The report follows the tasks outlined in SWSI as
<br />described below. It should also be noted that each
<br />project task involved the Basin Roundtable, which
<br />represented interest groups throughout the state.
<br />^ Section 2 outlines the Statewide Demographic,
<br />Economic, and Social Setting.
<br />^ Section 3 describes the Physical Environment of
<br />the Major River Basins.
<br />^ Section 4 provides an overview of the L~gal
<br />Framework for W~ter U~~ in Colorado.
<br />^ Section 5 looks at Proje~ted W~t~r Use for
<br />municipal, industrial, agricultural, environmental, and
<br />recreational needs.
<br />^ An ~~~~~~m~r~t ~F 1~f~t~r N~~d~ is presented in
<br />Section 6, which identifies the gap between supply
<br />and demands and describes identified projects and
<br />processes for meeting future needs.
<br />^ Section 7 summarizes the ~vailability of Existgng
<br />Wat~r Suppli~s employing tools such as the CWCB
<br />Decision Support Systems (DSS) to analyze water
<br />supply availability for each of the major river basins.
