Figure 10-1 shows the entire state and identifies <br />several alternatives including "Big Straw." Figure 10-2 identifies the <br />Marketable Pool in the Aspinall Unit. Figure 10-4 identifies cooperation in the <br />Southern Delivery System with CSU assuming members purchase their own water <br />rights. When the report was in draft, CSU was posturing that participation would <br />be available to all interested parties. The subsequent requirement to pay <br />150% of cost put more that one interested party off the idea. I am prepared to <br />submit all of these ideas as supply options if you think that is appropriate. <br />Finally, I have been in contact with the owners of approximately 45% of the <br />Ft. Lyon canal company as a possible source of supply for mrmicipal providers <br />who currently depend on non-renewable grormdwater. Likewise, I am prepared to <br />submit that as a supply alternative by your deadline if that meets the criteria <br />you have established. I can meet the deadline of 1/21/04 or I would be glad <br />to talk this over in person next Monday, 1/26/04 at our meeting. Please let <br />me know your thoughts. GB <br /> <br />1 <br />
