SF6 release rates were generally on the order of 20-25
kg an hour and occurred at five different locations during
the two month field project. Information on the release sites
is provided in Table 4-3. The SF6 rates were controlled with
the use of a Kurz mass flow meter (Kurz Instruments Inc.).
Table 4-4 summarizes release site data taken from the project
meteorologist's field notes. Appendix B contains the complete
set of these field notes.
