')

\
,.,.)

""

North Platte River:
Unnamed ReseIVoir: This is a reselVoir that was looked at by the Bureau of Reclamation in
the 19501s~ They might have information about it. The State Engineers Office in Denver also has
a book printed on the reservoir. This reservoir would inundate most of the North end of the
Platte River Basin in Colorado4 The capacity can be from 100,000 to 1,000,000 ac.ft.~ depending
on the size of the damn. This reservoir, ifbuilt, could possibly meet the envoirmental demands
put on the Platte system by the Fish and Wildlife Service. The North Platte Decree would have
to be looked at, along with complications of building a reseIVoir that big~

All of the above reservoirs would be on-stream. Whether any of the above can or should be
built is a matter of question~ These are the only ones that come to mind. I will save my
comments on the objectives/sub-objectives for the February meeting~ Your download never
came through. I would rather have a hard copy sent to me, anyway. I will attend the February
3, 2004 meeting. Please inform me of the location. If I can be of assistance in attaining a
location, please let me know.

Carl Trick II
Basin Advisor
North Platte Basin
