Make SWSI more understandable: Clarify what SWSI will analyze and its <br />activities, especially in light of water projects that are already underway. <br /> <br />. Preserve the af!ricultural lifestyle and economy: Water solutions need to support <br />the agricultural economy and communities, even though there are strong <br />demands on water from urban centers. <br /> <br />. Adeauately account for future demand and growth: Water storage projects and <br />conservation solutions need to address water demand in the future, since the <br />basin's population is expected to grow. <br /> <br />. Educate oeoole that water is not unlimited: An education process is needed to <br />help people understand the source and limited supply of Colorado's water. <br /> <br />Public Suggestions: <br /> <br />~ Answer the question: How much water is the basin required to let flow out of its <br />boundaries? <br />~ Does the CWCS fact sheet on demand need updating on projected irrigated <br />acres? <br /> <br />Comments: <br /> <br />The comments below recap the concerns, issues and questions that were raised at the <br />basin's Public Information Meeting. The <br />suggestions, comments and questions documented here will be incorporated into the SWSI <br />study process. This public input is greatly appreciated, as it will help guide the SWSI study <br />team as the process moves forward.
