The agenda included: <br /> <br />. A review of the SWSI process and status <br />. Final gap analysis, demand revisions and determination of gap by subbasin or county <br />. Water supply availability at determined locations <br />. Alternatives development, importance of identified options and processes, and options <br />scoring. Additionally, transbasin concepts were discussed in the North Platte and <br />Yampa/White/Green Basins. <br />. Implementation using partnering and overview of various funding sources <br />. SWSI Wrap-Up including post-November activities <br />. SWSI Public presentation <br />. Public comment session <br /> <br />Copies of the presentation materials were distributed to BRT members. Comments and <br />questions received throughout the meeting were recorded on flip charts and are included in the <br />meeting notes below. The summary is not intended to be a verbatim account and answers to the <br />questions are not always summarized here. The purpose of the summary is to provide an <br />overview of the process and the general tenure of the meeting. <br /> <br />SWSI Update <br /> <br />Rick Brown presented the SWSI update. Since BRT Meeting #3, the team has refined the gap <br />analysis, scored options for the development of alternatives including environmental and <br />recreation alternatives, completed the analysis of supply, evolved conservation savings, and <br />have been working on report preparation. Rick also requested BRT feedback on the desired <br />message the basin would like SWSI to communicate to the Legislature, the overall value of the <br />SWSI process, what has been answered, what has not, and requested input on moving forward. <br /> <br />Final Gap Analysis <br /> <br />Kelly DiNatale presented the final gap analysis numbers for the Yampa/White/Green Basin <br />and how the gaps were determined using the demand revisions. Kelly also reviewed the <br />statewide demand figures, including an estimate of the remaining gross demand shortfall, or <br />gap. The general locations of the remaining gap for each basin were also presented, as well as <br />the additional uncertainty with the planned projects and processes going forward. Where <br />applicable for each basin, provider level data were obtained and these were discussed along <br />with general supply options. The estimated gross demand shortfall was reviewed on a county <br />level for the Yampa/White/Green Basin, along with more specific information on the areas of <br /> <br />CDIVI <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />YWG BRT Mtg #4 Summary.doc 11/29/2004 <br />
