Federal Emergency Management Agency
Washington, D.C. 20472

CERTIFIED MAIL
RETURN RECEIPT REQUESTED

IN REPLY REFER TO:
Case No.: 03-08-0456P

The Honorable Richard M. Sheehan
Chairman, Jefferson County
Board of Commissioners
100 Jefferson County Parkway
Golden, CO 80419

Community: Jefferson County, CO
Community No.: 080087
Panel Mfected: 08059C041O E
Effective Date of J U N 2 6 2003
This Revision:

102-REISSUE

Dear Mr. Sheehan:

This Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) was prepared by the Federal Emergency Management Agency
(FEMA) to reis~ueaLOMR dated February 25, 2003, which became effective on June 25, 2003
(Case No~ 03-08-0099P), in accordance with Part 65 of the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP)
regulations. The February 25 LOMR, requested by Mr. Brad Sheehan, Development Review
Coordinator, Planning & Zoning Department, Jefferson County, revised the effective Flood Insurance
Rate Map (FIRM) and Flood Insurance Study (FIS) for your community to show the effects of revised
topographic information and construction associated with The Enclave at Normandy development along
SJCD 6100 from approximately 100 feet upstream to approximately 700 feet upstream of South Depew
Street. On June 17, 2003, FEMA issued a new FIRM and FIS report for Jefferson County, Colorado, and
its incorporated areas in our countywide format. Because this effective date was already established for
the new FIRM and FIS report, the modifications made by the February 25 LOMR were not incorporated
into these maps and were subsequently superseded. This LOMR reissue incorporates the modifications
made by the February 25 LOMR and revises the newly effective FIRM and FIS report.

We have revised the FIRM and FIS report to incorporate the modifications made by the February 25
LOMRalong SJCD 6100. As a result, the elevations of the flood having a I-percent chance of being
equaled or exceeded in any given year (base flood) along SJCD 6100 increased, and the width ofthe
Special Flood Hazard Area (SFHA), the area that would be inundated by the base flood, increased in
some areas and decreased in other areas. The modifications are shown on the enclosed annotated copies
of FIRM Panel 08059C0410 E and Profile Panels 417P and 418P. This LOMR hereby revises the
above-referenced panels of the effective FIRM and the affected portions of the FIS report, both dated
June 17,2003.

Themodifications are effective as of the date shown above. The map panel listed above and as modified
by this letter will be used for all flood insurance policies and renewals issued for your community.

A review of the determination made by this LOMR and any requests to alter this determination should be
made within 30 days. Any request to alter the determination must be based on scientific or technical data.
