<br />b. A professional public information officer (PIO) would be a huge benefit <br />for this project from this point forward. One voice, one message to deal <br />with public inquiries and concerns. <br />c. The Chatfield Basin Conservation Network (CBCN) will be a great <br />resource and information outlet for the project. Brook Fox and Ray <br />Sperger are the main contacts for that group. The CBCN is now an official <br />cooperating entity for the Chatfield project. <br /> <br />12. Action items for this subcommittee: <br />a. Provide these minutes directly to Eric Laux, EDA W, and Tetra Tech <br />b. Set up the next meeting for August (monthly meetings typically) and <br />cancel or shorten the meetings if necessary when the time comes <br />c. Pursue the project staging/timing considerations to realistically evaluate <br />the options and overall project timelines. <br />d. CWCB to work internally on the Construction Fund Bill, and language <br />that may be needed to assist with contracting, funding, and Parks needs. <br />e. CWCB and Parks should set up a meeting with Dan McAuliffe, Tom <br />Browning, Dave Giger, Ken Brink, Larry Kramer, Bill Levine, Harris <br />Sherman, Mike King, and Alex Davis to discuss DNR coordination. <br />f. Future agendas should consider "themes" (e.g. trees, construction phasing, <br />wildlife, etc.) to encourage meeting participation. <br />g. Division of Wildlife should be strongly encouraged to get involved with <br />the project and attend meetings. <br /> <br />13. The next Subcommittee meeting is scheduled for 9:00 am on August 21,2007 at <br />the Colorado Foundation for Water Education (CFWE), 1580 Logan Street. The <br />next Chatfield Coordination meeting is scheduled for 1 :30pm on August 7,2007 <br />also at the CFWE. The next FR/EIS progress meeting is scheduled for 9:00 am <br />August 9,2007 at the Tetra Tech conference room in Lakewood.
