Chatfield Reservoir Reallocation Project
Coordination Meeting Summary
Tuesday, Sept 4, 2007
1580 Logan Street, Room 410

DRAFT

Verbal Introductions:
Terry Baus
Mark Waage
Kevin Kinnear
Tom Clark
Jim Saunders
Pete Conovitz
Greg Hertzke
Dave Giger
Ken Brink
Lisa Darling
Rhonda Sandquist
Steve Witter
Bill Ruzzo
Victor Anderson
Kent Wiley
Rick McCloud
David Howlett
Rod Kuharich
John Hendrick
Katie Fendel
Teresa Jehn Dellaport
Eric Laux (by phone)
Betty Peake (by phone)
Britia Strother
Mark Shivley
Larry Moore
Marge Price
Jim McGrady
Rich Vidmar
Sheela Stack
Austin Hamre
Jeff Shoemaker

Tom - Is everyone getting the group emails, if not let me know. The meeting in late July at Denver Water, Teresa was
instrumental in putting it together, at least 15 people attended, the meeting went well, mostly held to talk with Denver
Water. Denver Water had some time with us to talk about Chatfield and let us know what their position is regarding this.
In the past, Bob Peters took over and became the representative. Mark Waage has 4 bullets:
1) support the reallocation effort, we have no hidden agenda to go after any of the reallocated source base. 2)
Interested in ecosystem restoration, instream benefits, incidental benefits. We haven't completely shelved the idea
of added restoration benefits later on. 3) protect what they already have right now. 4) did say the pumping to
access Denver's pool they are interested in. Not something to talk about today, but in general, felt they are on
board, in support, Patty Wells was there to talk about some of here ideas, explained some perceived negative
issues, think at this point no reason to believe Denver has any plans. Mark said they are busy, no time to scheme
on making lives more miserable. Anything to add to this? Going to work with a coordination piece with them, on
their and our websites. (Edit to agenda for August, incorrect date.)

Rick: Something in an old contract where Denver is involved with an operation? Not a good deal, way down the road.

1
