Chatfield Reservoir Reallocation Project
Meeting Summary
Denver Water
August 27,2007 at 1 :00 pm

Key Outcomes:

. Overall project communications between project interests are paramount

. A consistent message to the public is necessary

. Denver Water will draft an FAQ for review and posting on the CWCS website

. There may be potential mitigation options along the Highline Canal, but Denver
Water will have to review and consider proposals prior to endorsing

. Denver Water is the "managing authority" for Chatfield as indicated in the 1979
Chatfield agreement

. Denver Water asserted that they:

o Support the Chatfield Reallocation Effort
o Have continued interest in Ecosystem Restoration for in-stream benefits on
the S. Platte River below the reservoir
o Seek a pumping project to access water rights in Denver's pool
o Desire to protect what they have right now related to Chatfield
