- 4 -

o Still at issue are Denver Water's use of the reservoir, water use patterns of the Water Users, and
evaporation. Parks wants to understand how Denver Water is going to operate.
o State Parks has spent all the funding for the Recreation Study and may go to the CWCB and/or
the Water Users for more funding to complete the last 20%.
o State Parks is going to Omaha in January to discuss many issues.
o State Parks is reluctant to turn over their work to Tetra Tech without first getting the input from
some of their constituents and public.
o Dan McAuliffe explained that the group needs an analysis of everything bad out reallocation at
Chatfield but Parks doesn't need to have all the answers. Should we just have State Parks turn
over the 80% complete and have the process help develop alternatives for mitigation for the
preliminary FRlEIS? Its possible that the Water Users, CWCB, the Corps and Tetra Tech can
help with the development ofthe State Parks Mitigation Plan however but to date there is nothing
of substance to discuss. Paul Flack doesn't have authority to turn the current work to Tetra Tech
right now.
o Tetra tech requested a meeting with State Parks to better understand what's in the report so they
can focus on other aspects of the write up.

. Next Meetin g
o The next meeting was scheduled for January 4, 2007 at 9:30am. Location will be announced prior
to the meeting.

. Reservoir modeling meeting
o A separate technical meeting was held at 1:00pm in the Tetra Tech office. Meeting attendance
and minutes for that meeting can be requested from the Corps.

Flood Protection . Water Project Planning and Finance.
