Chatfield Reallocation FR/EIS Study Meeting Summary
Thursday, February 22, 2007: 9:30 am -12:00 pm
City of Aurora, 15151 E. Alameda Parkway, Aurora, CO 80012, 3rd Floor Lowry Room

1. Tom initiated the self-introductions and welcomed the team members to the meeting

2. CWCB provided an overall project update including:
a. General status overview
b. Funding (Federal, CWCB, Water Users, SB 179)
c. Tetra Tech stop order

3. FRlEIS Discussions took place, however Tetra Tech was not able to attend the meeting due the temporary
stop order by the Corps. The stop order is a result of insufficient federal funding to continue paying
invoices on the contract. This is a serious situation and a major blow to the project momentum. The Corps was able to discuss the following aspects of the FRlEIS
a. "No Action" alternatives (including further data collection, impact analysis, etc.)
b. EIS status update
c. Other data needs
d. Independent Technical Review (ITR) process

5. State Parks staff provided a status update on the Recreation Impact Study

6. The CWCB and Corps will revise overall study schedule based on realistic milestones and adjustments for
unforeseen circumstances, and will provide an updated time line to the team at the next meeting.

7. A proposed ER work plan was discussed

8. Information and logistics regarding the upcoming trip to Washington D.C. were discussed.

9.
