I am sorry that we have only been
able to exchange phone messages to this point~ but I hope we can soon speak in person.

We continue to hear that decisions are imminent on how public participation win take place for
the SWSI, and we would very much like to visit with you before that happens. My hope, and 1
believe that of others in the conservation community, is that we can participate effectively in the
SWSI and help promote outcomes that address Colorado's water needs through programs and
projects that also protect our state's environment and quality aftife. We believe it is critical to
the SWSI's success that its process be inclusive enough to allow involvement from the full range
of interested parties.

If you can please call (303-440-2937 x12) or fax (303-440-7933) me at your earliest convenience
to set a time for a meeting, it would be much appreciated. If I am not available, please suggest a
date and time in your message/fax and I am confident that we will be able to accommodate your
schedule. Again, thank you for your return call. I look forward to visiting with you about how
we can help make the SWSI a success.

Sincerely,

~

David Nickum

Trollt Unlimited:,America's LeadilJg Coldwater Fisheries Conservation Orgallization
Colorado Office: 1320 Pearl Street, Suite 320~ Boulder, CO 80302
PHONE: (303) 440-2937 FAX: (303) 440-7933 EMAIL: dnickum@tu.org
