reservoir storage capacity is less than 80%; discussed at the July 2006 CBRT meeting <br />SWSL CWCB manages the Statewide Water Supply Initiative (SWSI), which was created to <br />study long term water needs in Colorado after the Big Straw hutiative failed in 2003. <br />Water Availability Study: SB 07-122 appropriated $500,000 to study the extent of Colorado water <br />available for current and fiiture needs. The Water Availability Study is designed to identify <br />whether Colorado still has water available under the 1922 Colorado River Compact for <br />development, and what risks are associated with developing it.
