the Colorado River Basin; 3) the opportunity to expand, modernize, evaluate, and refine cloud
seeding programs; and 4) recent environmental monitoring and operational criteria updates to
permits introduced by CWCB staff. Staff is specifically requesting the Board to consider approval
of the non-reimbursable request for $175,000 through the CWCB Construction Fund.
Staff Recommendation
Staff recommends that the Board request that the General assembly authorize $175,000 from the
Construction Fund to be appropriated to the CWCB Weather Modification Permitting Program to be
used for non-reimbursable investments that will assist water providers in the development of
weather modification activities.
